IZ Technologies is looking for personnel to support the Fleet Combat Camera, Pacific.  The FCCP Photographic/Imaging Equipment Screening Pool was created to consolidate the storage, inventory, distribution and redistribution, stock replenishment, service maintenance and repair of photographic equipment for FCCP, COMPACFLT, and ONI. COMPACFLT is in charge of fleet Visual Information (VI) program in addition to supporting the Pacific Fleet Aircraft Carriers’ Media Departments. FCCP comprised of Active duty and Reserve personnel are expressly organized, trained and equipped to provide rapid deployment Combat Camera (COMCAM) personnel to support military exercises, operations, and contingencies. ONI maintains inventory of photographic/imaging equipment for loan to deploying ships. 

IZ Technologies is providing all services required to manage and operate the Photographic/Imaging Equipment Screening Pool for Commander Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT), Fleet Combat Camera Pacific (FCCP) and Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) located at FCCP, Naval Air Station North Island, CA.


To perform the following specific tasks and required skills:

  • Answer daily inquiries in person, by telephone, email, official letter or message from naval photographic personnel and commands inquiring on availability of excess photographic/imaging equipment. These inquiries shall be handled in a timely, courteous and professional manner. 
  • Receive and perform proper receipt procedures for incoming brand new equipment purchased or transferred. Adjust electronic inventory to reflect current on hand count.
  • Perform basic operability checks and inspection of the incoming equipment and document equipment needing repair or disposal. 
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs (remove and replace) on returned items after each tasking/mission.
  • Store received/returned equipment in authorized storage areas. Follow proper storage procedures to preclude equipment degradation. 
  • Adjust equipment count and accurate storage locations accordingly using an electronic system. 
  • Perform a physical inventory of all photographic/imaging equipment every six months.
  • Distribute or redistribute equipment after receipt of request for support, furnish Initial Issue load out to incoming FCCP personnel. 
  • Evaluate and assist in determining proper equipments to be shipped/ transferred upon receipt of equipment support request. 
  • Check the basic operability of returned equipment and ensure issued equipment is in RFI condition.

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

To meet the minimum requirements, a photographic/digital imaging equipment specialist must qualify in all of the following categories of education and experience: 

  • Must have recent in-depth experience as a Navy photographer with a good working knowledge of the operation and maintenance procedures of photographic/digital imaging equipment; recent experience in a supervisory capacity of one or more employees in photographic laboratory production work center. 
  • Must be a graduate of the Navy’s Photographic “A” School or equivalent schools or technical experience. 
  • Must have recent-in depth digital imaging experience or significant digital camera system training. 
  • Must have recent experience with the Navy Supply System and Procedures.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
